My favorite pop tautology is in “Out of Control” by Hoobastank (remember them?!).

“And I may never know the answer to this endless mystery.”

The best part is the word “may” indicating a level of doubt for the self-evident.

Likewise in the Gin Blossoms’ “Hey Jealousy.”

“If you don’t expect too much from me, you MIGHT not be let down.”

‘Tautology’ doesn’t mean what you think it does. Tautology isn’t (even close to being) the same thing as self-reference or impredicative definition/description, which is what you guys appear to have in mind. And Debbie Harry sometimes had dark hair, e.g., in The Hardest Part vid..
