I could spend hours and hours looking at this, although obviously it should be called “Putting Transport on the SCHEMATIC.” If (and it’s a huge if) this does all come to fruition, will this new map (whatever) change the way we think about London? Importantly, the circle line is no longer a milk bottle on its side, and the central line is relegated to squiggly line status so the crossrail can thrust dramatically in a straight line directly through the middle of town. Also, what exactly is a “transit” (insert discussions on electrified canals in mail train tunnels into the comments box plsthx)?
