Golly gosh… Blood on the Tracks for me, big time. I don’t know why I only heard it for the first time recently, having got my fair share of Dylan albums – I guess I resisted its reputation. But it’s brilliant, genuinely brilliant.
I so SO wanted to like Sam Brown’s album. And I still melt at the title track. But not for me.
OMG SMH at the results so far, how is MJ not the runaway winner here?!
I am honestly sort of shocked at the results so far.
Hey Eli, if you want to play Bon Jovi, then just play Bon Jovi.
Ooh Pete you know how to talk to me, don’t you
Lex: because that album is kind of crap?
(Genuine question, I only know the singles; I voted for the only album I’ve heard all the way through, which is so far the winner and even I don’t think it should be.)
The good news is if you play ‘Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts’ you’ll have half the programme done straightaway
“In The Closet” and “Remember The Time” alone make it a worthwhile album, and certainly compared to the utter shit which comprises the rest of the list there’s no reason to be calling any MJ album “kind of crap”.
Unlike the end of year polls on Popular, there’s no ‘none of the above’ option here.
I’m not familiar with all these albums but the U2 entry is about as dangerous as a sponge.
