WBS’ last UK Top 40 thread: William has fought the good pop fight, and finally came up against the one foe (OK, two foes) that he could not beat. Hats off to an entertaining feature, finger up to JK and Joel.
Now is as good a time as any, though, to express my befuddlement that the new Stereophonics single is being received (by multiple sources) as ‘actually good’ rather than ‘marginally better than other Stereophonics singles’. It’s not just the chug, people, it’s the voice! (And the words!)
