Beat generation

Beat generation: The Observer looks at the growing phenomenon of the UK Garage scene. There’s only a little bit of interest here to the reasonably aware UK music fan, but US readers should definitely take a look to find out a bit more about what the genre is. The only British group to have made much impact in America in recent years is the Spice Girls. I’m sure there are at least two or three more that deserved some acknowledgement over there. It’d be a shame if UK Garage didn’t even get a look in over there because of media underexposure.
