Or alternatively, hear Tim talking to Molly about this intriguing threesome. Note. BBC Radio 2, if you want someone to present a history of Country Music, this man is a radio natural.

Tim’s banter on the radio show was legendary. I am really quite sad that he cannot be a permanent fixture on the show. Now who will fill the black pudding-discussion void on the Nashville airwaves?

I am sure us technical types can organise a live link up. Excellent anchoring as well Molly, he does like an audience.
And I am not the kind of person who does not like to help people in pubs. I run a bar. What kind of cad would that make me?

You know, I really fancy an afternoon in the Wenlock some time soon too. Or an evening with big fat Salt Beef Sammich and Toby Keith scaring off the Jazzers.

It’s going to take a long time before I’m back in Wenlock-style circulation: I have to pay much dietary penance for a week spent eating like Toby Keith on a burger b3nder.
Home made apple pie! Sliders! Tripe Tacos! Whoopsi-dawgs!

I have long thought that T. Keith’s ‘I love this bar’ should be an FT anthem.

We need you culinary write ups as soon as possible…

Yeah they’re coming just after the last of everyone’s Food Science Day write-ups.

I have long thought that T. Keith’s ‘I love this bar’ should be an FT anthem.
So I’m slowly working through the Toby’s LPs, starting with the most recent but in no particular order, and yesterday “Shock ‘N’ Y’All” arrived, so I finally got to hear “I Love This Bar”. It’s great, and I see what you mean, though the Toby on display is slightly more philanthropic than my ideal TK.
TK is classic country in so far as each of his LPs seems to have a handful of absolute crackers and a bunch of rubbish. It makes them hard to recommend, and I bet when a ‘Best of’ of his last few LPs comes out, it won’t include lots of my faves. Perhaps I should compile a primer for the Toby-curious.

Nearly redeems the phrase ‘Come as you are’ in song lyrics.
