What's Michael

I guess this can't be claimed as a hugely major or important work, but it's a series that I love. It's more or less just cat strips of many different kinds, but Makoto Kobayashi's observation and precision of expression and pose, for the cats even more than the people, makes it an absolute joy. If the cover image shown here looks to you to capture perfectly a pose that you've seen when you've walked in a room and seen a cat licking itself, and it freezes in brief puzzlement, you might like these comics too.
