Osaka Castle

Osaka castle was built around the end of the 16th Century by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and played a key role in the end of the warring period, when Tokugawa Ieyasu eventually defeated Hideyoshi's son after a long siege, settling the final disputes and establishing the Tokugawa shogunate that ruled Japan for over 250 years.
