Those who’ve been following the Jesus Castillo case will have a clearer idea of what I’m talking about. The Supreme Court yesterday turned down Mr Castillo’s appeal after a truly mind-boggling closing speech by the prosecutor, essentially telling the jury to ignore the evidence in favour of their own prejudices.
