Yamai no Soshi scroll of diseases

shaving is the only cure for pubic lice

Frankly, I have no reason to think this is Buddhist, but it seemed to fit better after the scroll of hell than anywhere else, and I wanted to include it. It's a scroll of images of people suffering from nasty diseases and conditions, and other people laughing at them. It's from the twelfth Century.

backwards: Jigoku-Zoshi scroll of hell
