context: comics > sourcesManga: Sixty Years of Japanese Comics by Paul GravettLet's admit the bias first: I've known Paul since the early '80s and admire and like him enormously. This is a handsome volume often to be found at an irresistible bargain price, full of well-chosen and introduced examples, with more colour than is even needed, at times. Paul has done his research to be able to offer plenty of facts to put things in context, and writes very well. |
