Prehistory/Jomon

I don't know what this is, but it's from the Late Jomon

Artistically this vastly long period is only of minor interest, but since it includes maybe the world's earliest ceramics, and some extraordinary styles, it's worth covering.

I've stuck with pots and the like here, since figurative works are covered in the sculpture section on that period, which is worth looking at in parallel to this.
