“I will blog you and link you on the Permafrost“: it’s another new music weblog, this time by ILM veteran Andy Kelman. This one boasts a clean, stern attractive design, a gorgeous indexing system, some sharp opinions and sharp writing to go with them. It’s one of the best I’ve seen recently.
(Re. singles vs. full records in the ILM poll – the suggester of the lump-them-all-in-together method, i.e. me, still lives in a country where singles are records. You put a record/tape/CD – an individual artefact – on your player, no matter how many tracks it contains. That was the logic. How it stretched to include box sets, I’m admittedly not sure….)
