COLDPLAY (Revisited)
Someone has written in to suggest that I was being a bit dismissive in calling Coldplay a Muse knock-off (thus making themselves a Radiohead knock-off twice removed). Now in my defence, dismissive is pretty much what this site is all about. That said, just for you a brief tale to show why Coldplay are not strictly the saviours of rock and roll.
Just before bed last night I noticed I has a spot on my chin. Now I tend not to suffer too much from facial blemishes, but they have always been treated with disdainful scorn and immediate evisceration when they do occur. So I squeezed the thing, releasing its contents. Result – predictably – was pus. Poisonous effluent the body has to push out. And guess what.
It was all – Yellow.
