Questions will be asked from Lake Geneva to St. Gallen. The tenacious and resourceful Hondurans enter the second round on a massive high having gone from unfancied enigmas to a pop force to be reckoned with.

Still, it’s at least catchy!

I thank that’s been the Swiss problem throughout. They came up with a cracker in the second round but it feels like hard graft rather than natural flair. I predict a Honduran win.

I’d give it to the Hondurans, but this one absolutely could go either way.

The Hondurans play like the breeze, the question being whether there is enough in their breeze to affect the trajectory of the ball. Not quite, but I enjoy their whoosh, while giving my vote to the Swiss.

HON don’t seem to be playing a conventional striker at times but there’s a sense that any player could pick up the ball and score. The Swiss put on their most convincing and consistent performance yet and there’s a swagger and swing to their movement on the ball which I find refreshing after so much percussive play of recent days – so they get my vote.

Honduras didn’t change a bit to their hipshaking strategy.
The sun is out, the beer is cold… Honduras, bring it on!

Meanwhile Honduras are just terrific right across the park – more please!

The bouncy rhythm from the Swiss team has got my vote in the end.

Good use of the deep-lying chipmunk vocalist too, a tactic we all remember with fondness from the early 90s. Not sure they have the end product, though.

Very positive play from the Swiss too – the manager may be feeling desperation but it’s not showing in his side’s confident, unhurried movement. Technically they have the edge on the Hondurans but if there’s a winner here it may be down to hunger more than technique. My vote? It’s a toss-up, though the fact that I’m off on holiday tomorrow may well sway me that little bit towards Honduras…

I love the positive play here from Bullaka Family but I’m a sucker for end-of-the-night, arms-around-your-friends-shoulders tracks like this one from Switzerland.
