Eng-er-land, Eng-er-land, Eng-er-land!!
England football teams have won twice in two days!! On Wednesday night the National Game XI (made up of players under 23 from non-league football) put three past Holland and last night the Women’s team put four past Italy (Italy did scrape a consolation goal in the last 10 minutes). Who needs 4 million quid a year managers? Reports from these games make them sound like a lot more fun than boring old eriksson or taylor friendlies (I would have actually attended the NGXI match in Woking which was FREE to get into, but I wimped out. Hey, it was cold on Wednesday…) and WE WIN!!
There is Euro 2005 to look forward to this summer as well…
