Would you trust a man with the middle name STRANGE as the US Secretary Of Defense?
If yes, go and see if that would be justified by seeing The Fog Of War.
If no, go and see if your expectations would be confounded by seeing The Fog Of War.

The most frustrating thing about The Fog Of War is actually about its subject. Edward STRANGE McNamara was indeed US Secretary of Defense from 1961-1967. But after that he was the head of the World Bank. The film goes up until 1967. Whilst it is an instructive and fascinating picture of a man trying to do the right things, but often failing, imagine what being the head of the World Bank is like for damning half the world with good intentions.
