Pub Ettiquette: Christ knows I’m the last person to talk to about how to behave in pubs, but there really ought to be a guide on how to avoid people in pubs. London should be big enough so that various parties do not collide if they do not wish it. And often the chance encounter can be a joyous thing. But when it is a collision between people who really don’t want to see each other, then prickly stares may ensue. A multi-leveled pub can often sort out the proximity problem, but unfortunately some people just don’t get the hint. One of those situations as well that alcohol makes worse….
