Pop World Cup – Radio Roundup 2
Peter Baran and Roger Bozack re-ensconce themselves in the booth with all the action and results from Group B’s first round of matches – Argentina v Nigeria and Greece v South Korea. We hear from Giorgios Mais, 4Minute, Entre Rios, and D’Banj. Our outro tune is the beginning of “Julia” by The Very Best.

I think you guys misunderstood Chris.. the PRELUDE on the SINGLE version of the SK song, which the one embedded in this cup is NOT – there’s a synth melody. You can hear it at the beginning here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zafb4E1dr0o
Ah that makes more sense. It’s too bad the prelude didn’t appear on the pitch on the day! It may be what cost SK two points…
I laughed out loud at the OMC joke. Unfortunately the NZ tabloids have taken a dim view of this and I’m having a tough time at the press conference. I’d like to apologise to all the fans of the late great Pauly who was an inspiration to many of the players in the NZ squad and we’ve all benefitted from his experience and consultation in qualifying and preparation for our World Cup debut.
We’ll be wearing all black armbands on our all black shirts in his honour for the game v Slovakia, and he’ll be our 12th man in spirit. I’m still not playing that terrible song he released a few years ago with Lucy Lawless however.
OMG gett it koreans! that was friggin awesome. soory Greece maybe next time. as for nigeria va argentina . . . GO NIGERIA REPRESENT THAT GREEN AND WHITE!!!
