More to the point I was living with Frank, who was a great listener to, and winder-up of presenters of, BBC Radio Bristol, which went crazy for the local here. Consequently I was subjected to wall-to-wall <em>Side Saddle</em> and <em>Roulette</em> (amongst others, all sounding pretty much the same). They have that irritating head-wriggling quality which I suppose was part of their success. This is strictly background music, there to great an atmosphere rather than to be listened to, and I imagine it going with sawdust, sour beer, and surly regulars hogging the dart board.
