Hello again. As you can see Kat and I are sharing the podcasting load — not that it’s all that much of a burden. People send us pop and we put it on here. EASY. Well if people DO send us pop. This week is entirely thanks to just Pete and Me. And it doesn’t feel all that ‘pop’. Darren Hayes exempted — and he’s gone all concept album on us anyway.

send us the pop that’s getting you excited poptimism.podcast@googlemail.com

Candie Payne isn’t pop, in the same way that Carmel and the Kaye Sisters weren’t.

Possibly not the best place for this sort of announcement, but I’ll be in London tomorrow evening for a stopover before a week’s holiday, so if anyone fancies meeting up for a drink, email me at beatgirlcomics-at-gmail-dot-com and let me know whereabouts you’ll be. (Also, if anyone has a spare couch, it’d save me Travelodge money which I could translate into buying a round or two.)

Further to comment #7 above, the tracks that I YSI’d last week expire in about 24 hours from now. Just sayin’.

  13. FT's Alan on September 11th, 2007

sorry jeff, unless Kat caught them in time, i’m afraid we’ve wasted yr time there and they have expired. sorry about that. if you’d try again, or just e-mail them to the same address, we’d be much obliged.
