Thanks to Tom, Grace, Steve M, someone on the League of Pop, and the internet. (I can’t recall where the Uptown track came from, sorry whoever pointed me at it.).

Life begins at 40, and so next week there are going to be some changes to celebrate YEAR ONE of the podcast. I can’t tell you what now, because, well because I make this up as I go along and have no real idea. Except to repeat what I said last week, that unless I receive a massive number of new things to play I will supplement the usual sounds with a run down of my favourite tracks that we’ve featured in a super long edition.

“Uptown” isn’t from me, but is this the same Pleasure that I posted a track by on Poptimists yesterday? (I haven’t listened to this podcast yet). If so, yay. But I have a feeling there’s more than one act that has used this name over the years.

this Pleasure is 00s synthpop from Norway.

Ah yes, jauntyalang should know by now the RULE of adding the Geir “(from Norway)” suffix every time. Anyway, this lot are OK but nowhere near as good as the other Pleasure who I posted about.

Blimey, where did all this Rihanna brilliance suddenly come from?
