Credit where it’s due dept: the Rah Band one was from the excellent MP3 blog Bubblegum Machine

That bootleg works really well! Actually what hooked me on the Buster Brown was the way his yelps (mostly from before this excerpt) reminded me of Akon’s.

yes, thanks Tom for reminding me about B’gum Machine recently. I’ve been downloading loads from that site in the last week or so. In fact, I was seriously thinking about submitting “The Crunch” in The League of Pop. I think this puts the kibosh on that idea! Oh well.

There does seem to be some clash between the podcast and the league of pop sadly.

I think a lot of the players don’t read FT!

The only “clash” as such is having to decide between what songs to give to Alang, what songs to try out on fellow Chart Champers in the LoP and what songs to save for the Poptimists Audio Club. :)

Ooh, download link is back hurrah. I really missed that feature of the Lessons.

    Also what Kat said.

It turns out that podpress — the clever podcasting plugin for wordpress that we use — is even better than i thought. I’ve turned on the tracking which means we can see when ppl play them, download them or get them via proper podcast.
