As usual thanks to all the contributors. My little cry for help over on LJ means not only have I received enough files to make a start on next week’s, but also an entire guest “Poptimism Means”. Look out for that in two weeks’ time.

The Epic Man track sounds much better here - a grower it seems.

On the basis of these clips, the Bugz in Attic track and the Rex the Dog mix of ‘Since U Been Gone’ are potentially great. Thanks.

i have become a bit obsessed with that kelly/mode mix - best RtD for ages! but i am no “mode”head so don’t know what it is that is mixed in the back. anyone?
FT's CarsmileSteve on August 29th, 2006
a little, hem hem, research suggests it may be called “photographic”
FT's CarsmileSteve on August 29th, 2006
and further research shows that it is a “dub” remix that maybe someone else has dropped sinc u been gone on top of…
rex say:
Depeche Mode: Photographic
The song Photographic is from Depeche Mode’s first album Speak And Spell which was first released in 1981 when we were children. The music on Speak And Spell is one the greatest things of all time.
Our remix is included on the new album Remixes 81…04. and all the time we were making it, we were paralysed with fear and honour.

DJ Earworm comes up in my “research” as the masher-upper. now i’d like to hear the dep mode remix on its own. but still this really beefs up the (a bit rub) kelly song to mazin effect, eh?
