Icicle Works: The Best of…: Pitchfork Review “This was the generation of listeners that, at one point, had supposedly condemned cruddy ’80s bands like the Icicle Works, Pet Shop Boys and Men at Work to a virtual non- existence in the 1990s.” - pointless anti-80s rant from one-time Bunnymen fan. Yes the Icicle Works were rubbish but this record came out TEN YEARS AGO! Would fit nicely into Spin, which seems to be increasingly the point.
