NME sales decline

NME sales decline: they’ve been concentrating on the online market - and it shows, nme.com is about twice as good as the print version. I of course can see how their online readership’s going too due to my job working for THE MAN (though I’m not allowed to tell you) - I would be interested to know where the revenue is meant to be coming from website-wise, though.

One particular quote stood out rather: “with the rock and hip-hop crossover, NME has fortunately found a type of dance music that’s acceptable to cover.”. ‘Acceptable’ - what a lovely choice of word. (via No Rock And Roll Fun, which is an excellent weblog)
