Kid 606′ PS I Love You reviewed by the NME. My first thought on listening to this record - which I’m not sure whether I like or not though I think it’s pleasant - is that all the reviews would be exactly like this one, i.e: Kid 606 does these monstrously fucked-up glitchscapes, doesn’t he? How dare he release an album which isn’t that? I think also that ’seriousness’ isn’t quite the effect 606 is aiming for on the album: ‘tenderness’ might be nearer the mark.
