A Chance Meeting With Nurse With Wound

A Chance Meeting With Nurse With Wound: courtesy of Josh, a superb 1981 interview which makes plain the link between listening to far more records than is in any way normal, and making the kind of sounds NWW make. It also explains why there’s that incongruous guitar soloing all over Chance Meeting…. - it’s “commercial guitar” added by a sympathetic engineer friend. Which I find ironic, because with 20+ more years of cut-and-pastery and sonic experimentation behind is - even if most of it has been thoroughly bogus - the squalling guitars now sound the least commercial thing on that record.
