Lambchop: Nixon: Pitchfork Review

Lambchop: Nixon: Pitchfork Review “In the plainest terms possible, Nixon is a record for grandmothers and hipsters.”. Pitchfork turns its attention to Lambchop - good review, somewhat harsh. I agree that Nixon doesn’t really make an ‘impact’ - but should all good music make an impact? The album still sounds to me like ambient music, or at least like ambient music was meant to sound before the stoners got hold of it….
