i think you got the homeo-/naturo- distinction semi-right?

naturopathy: using willow bark rather than proper aspirin to cure a headache. or other more ~holistic practices~ or idk colour therapy or something.
homeopathy: using a grillion-times-diluted extract of something that causes a headache which has been banged three times against a leather-backed chair by an initiate, often then reconstituted in sugar-based pill form, to cure a headache.
“allopathy”: using aspirin to cure a headache LIKE A SANE PERSON (or something else if you’re allergic to aspirin or it don’t work for you).

basically my feeling is that, out of sheer KNOW YOUR ENEMY practicality, you shouldn’t use the the term “homeopathy” to describe anything that isn’t that particular blend of sympathetic magic, hidden ritual, and “memory of water” gubbins.

A postulant is a candidate for a monastery, but admittedly it doesn’t really fit in these terms. Just goes to show why alliteration (on teh fly) is SO dangerous.

Hopefully someone can enlighten us if we got the difference between homeopathy and naturopathy wrong. IT calls odd to call drinking 7-up naturopathy!
