When we were there, the chances of anything coming from Middlesbrough being a million to one seemed quite generous.

We were going to re-edit the sings back in, but there aren't many obvious break points.

Personally I would have found it more interesting if they'd done a live recreation of Welles doing those Findus food commercials...

Resonance are broadcasting a number of shows from the 2008 AV Festival, not just the War Of The Worlds thing last night. I think this may have included the Jean-Jacques Perrey & Dana Countryman show in Newcastle last Sat (which I was at! It was great! A friend and I also interviewed them for an, ahem, rival radio station...)

If you can be bothered, it might be worth re-editing the podcast so that the songs are interspersed with the chat.

Next Tuesday's Clear Spot, however, is I think unmissable:

Some notes for the confused listener. We were told by Resonance to just do a 45 minute show, as they were going to some "Martians Destroy Middlesbrough" play after us and they needed to get the connection working. We did this, but they said we could play fifteen minutes of music while they waited. So the last fifteen minutes aren't really lollards, its just some drinking songs we know.

The rest is all proper blameworthy stuff though!
