Michael Jackson is a SEVEN, including a Mike & Michelle, AND the separate writer of Blame It On The Boogie (A fact which I love all the more because it has as far as I know caused zero confusion to anyone ever).

There are surely a few Robert Browns around also:
– Bobby the soul singer;
– Bobby the 1970s Enlightening Beam of Axonda dude;
– singer out of Abeney Park;
– Washboard Sam;
– one of Autechre; apparently
– the keyboardist out of Big Tom and the Mainliners, an Irish showband, aparently, but I don’t think that counts.

My mate Dave was in a band called Endless Bob Brown in the 1980s, but I’m certain that doesn’t count.

I make FIVE David/Davey Joneses on Wikipedia, including Mr. Bowie. But in the spirit of Tim’s mate Dave, I also claim Dave Jones as being the bass player in the first teenage band I was in: Wildebeeste.

(Couldn’t work out how to do the umlaut above the ‘i’ in Wildebeeste. Truly we were the proto-Darkness)

Looks like there was a Bob Brown who released “Living in Australia” on Kookaburra records in about 1990. Im guessing that he was / is Australian but it could be a TRICK.

Old soul records by Chicago singer Bobbie Brown, or by Robert Brown Jr and the Politers (the Politers sound nice) look like they will cost you quite a lot of money.

Michael Jones of Wallasey is a pop performer, having done a live spoken-word vocal spot in a performance of ‘Ebony Eyes’ in spring 2000.

Tim Hopkins can verify this, having sung a rather moving version of the Bodines’ ‘Therese’ the same day.
