1) Ritchie Blackmore is one of the best guitarist EVER, and Rainbow is one of the best bands EVER.
2) Smoke on the Water is only one song, and it’s riff says nothing about Blackmore’s talent. He wrote a bunch of way better riffs, but sadly this person has never heard of them.
3) Blackmore was always very creative. But indeed, how would this person know that as she’s never heard anything from him? Two songs aren’t enough if you are going to bash something like this.
4) Since You Been Gone wasn’t written by Blackmore or any other member of Rainbow. It was written by Russ Ballard.
5) Blackmore NEVER joined Whitesnake. That is the worst piece of shit I’ve seen in this writing so far. He didn’t get along with David Coverdale after Purple disbanded, and Whitesnake is Coverdale’s band as much as Rainbow was Blackmore’s. Blackmore would never have joined Whitesnake.

I hope I’d have read this earlier, or, even better, never. I already regret reading it.
