Further to mr baran’s comments on jukers, i think the main reasons for pubs removing them were all demonstrated on friday night at Mabel’s Tavern, another in the diminishing band of pubs with jukers. These reasons mainly involve inebriated persons putting ‘do they know it’s christmas’ and ‘bo rap’ on and singing along very loudly… nice boozer though, good range of shepard neame (sp?) brews and not as busy at half 5 on a friday as the LJR. oh hello by the way, this is my first publog post :)
