This is truly a must read series and great for all ages 12 and up. I picked up the first book in the series some time ago just to see what I thought about it for my daughter. I started skimming for content and before I realized it I was back to page one reading the whole DANG book (which I finished one day). Which then in turn prompted me to go purchase the next one and the next one and waited for what seemed like forever for the fourth and final book in this series. I don't do much paranormal nor do I dig young adult reads much but this truly was a great series that kept you reading and wanting to read more. Anything that will keep our youngins reading non stop is A ok in my book !

US film ratings in full:

G= General Audiences (equals the UK's U = Universal which is general audiences + aliens)

PG - Parental Guidance - again the same as the UK.

PG-13 : Appears to be the same as our 12A (though a year older) BUT IT ISN'T. PG-13 is a "strong" PG, it is a guide that some material maybe very VERY unsuitable for a kiddie. However the kids still do not need to be accompanied by adults. In the UK, kid must be with parent to see 12A

R - This is more like 12A, if 12A was 17A. No-one under 17 can see it withotu a parent or guardian present. This means it has some form of sex in it, as violence tends to get sucked up by PG-13.

NC-17 - No-one under 17 can see it. Broadly similar to out 18, but most cinemas in the US will not show an NC-17 film (tis ratings kiss of death). Most of what would be a UK 18 would be a R in the states.

There is no US equivalent to the 15.
