Listening to it now, for the first time ever! Spot the sample basically. Actually I would like to know where that first break (the ‘On A Ragga Tip’ one) actually comes from.

‘the “got my mind wide open” bit reminds me a lot of A Man Called Adam’s “Barefoot In The Head”.’

I didn’t really expect much knowledge of this one – according to discogs it’s only ever been on one other dance compilation (released in 1998!), another surprising move on PWL’s part. I guess it only really got played at raves – I can see how it would be less engaging in a non-clubbing context.

Excellent video! Very close to being Chart Show Dance Chart 91 era quality.

You’re right in that this is the most obscure thing on Rave 92, and I guess the lack of comments reflect this. It’s a good tune – the “got my mind wide open” bit reminds me a lot of A Man Called Adam’s “Barefoot In The Head”.
