This godawful racket I keep hearing in the coffee shop was identified by the pincushion behind the counter as "The White Stripes". At your leisure, please help me to understand this.</description>

So that means I get to select someone to critically consider too. Score!! How about Nick Cave &#38; the Bad Seeds - they are critcally acclaimed all the time, but maybe for the wrong reasons (they also have a fine back catalogue of album covers - from the Birthday Party years - just ready for re-interpretation).</description>
