Hard Candy was a mediocre film. The dialogue was infuriatingly perfect, and I found the intelligence of the girl in the film highly annoying. I wish the whole thing would have been less polished. Right from the beginning when I saw the chat scene (on messenger), where the words that appeared on the screen were being typed without any error, I thought, oh no, the dialogue's going to be far too perfectly scripted... and it was. Ahh back to Goldfrapp. Live they are amazing. The noises that come honking out of the stacks are incredible.
